The Empower Your Future program is not limited to 1 time school presentations, but also includes opportunities for new fun and exciting activities for the students the program supports. These camps not only provide an opportunity that some of these students might never have, but also teach the values, goals and our mantra of Education Plus Perseverance Plus Endurance equals No Limitations.
The first Empower Your Future camp was held at the Texas Motorsports Ranch in Cresson Texas (SW of Ft. Worth) on February 12th, 2007 where students earned junior motard racing licenses in the CMRA (Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association) and got to race on a real road race track at Motorsports Ranch. Jack Farr owner of Motorsports Ranch kindly donated the day at his facility for this junior motard camp. It was a wonderful opportunity for the students to learn the basics and safety issues concerning motorcycle road racing. Junior Motards are small displacement (124 cc or less) 4 stroke off-road motorcycles that have been equipped with tires for riding on paved roads.

In addition to the Junior Motard camp, the Empower Your Future program has also held Motocross (off-road motorcycle riding) camps which were held in March, May and August in 2007. Our same goals and values were put forward while the students had fun and gained confidence in learning a fun new skill in Motocross riding.
